Not only did Jon do what you would expect from an agent (walk us through the process, hold our hand every step of the way, etc.), but he also helped us work with a VERY difficult situation. We were under contract with the first home, but it fell through because of some underhanded dealings by the seller. We felt heartbroken, thinking that it was our dream home. We were wrong. The day after the contract fell though, Jon brought us out to look at more homes. We saw the PERFECT home, and Jon negotiated the entire thing for us. We paid less than we were willing to pay (thank you, Jon!), and he made the whole thing move as quickly as it possibly could. I highly recommend Jon to anyone.

From the start Jon was great, very attentive and responsive to our crazy needs and questions. He showed a lot of patience especially with the fact that we were going to be new homeowners and did not know much going into it. Since I live in Florida it was incumbent on Jon to handle much of what I could not do from a distance. This included co-ordinating several repairs of the property, as prescribed through inspections and from requests of the buyer. Jon handled all of this for me in a professional manner, and I would be pleased to recomment him to anyone desiring to enlist the services of a competent realtor.

We had some bad luck with sellers that couldn't have been avoided but they dealt with our needs and requests in a very professional manner. It was also great to have a team of two because we were able to look at a broader range of homes in different counties because each of them had different and overlapping certifications in different areas which expanded the homes available to us. I wasn't even sure I could purchase a home when I first contacted Jon, but I wanted my money to go into something that I owned each month. So he had his work cut out for him! I would call and e-mail with any question I could think of and I always got a warm greeting and a well explained answer. Jon made sure I fully understood each step of the process and he made sure I always knew what was coming up next. We found one beautiful home that had lots of hidden issues and when we started realizing there was more than meets the eye with that property, Jon went above and beyond by going to townhall and calling around town to get us any additional information he could on the "problem house". When we realized that property was not our best option, Jon had other homes waiting for us to see and wasted no time getting my mind off the first house and getting us into our first home, which is better then I could have ever imagined! I love my new home and will forever appreciate the knowledge, patience, and kindness Jon maintained through the entire process of purchasing my first home. I have already reccomended Jon to friends and family and will continue to do so as he made my home buying experience feel like a breeze. It was a real pleasure to be able to work with Jon in finding a home.
At this point in the process there are smoke certifications, well tests, inspections, certificates of occupancy, and myriad other things that need to be done by the seller. Jon was ON POINT with all of it. He knew the requirements in and out, provided valuable contacts he's worked with in the past, and went out of his way to make sure it was as painless for me (seller) as possible. I'm so grateful to Jon for his diligence, work ethic, and energy and would not hesitate to recommend him.

As a professional woman and single mother, I am comfortable making decisions on my own. However, I was limited with regard to the home that I would purchase for a variety of reasons. I knew my decision would not be simple. Jon Adler, my Realtor, took interest in my life and understood the variables that would ultimately affect my decision. He made sure to only show me properties in which I would be interested and, if the home did not "fit the description", Jon was prepared with the reasons why a home should be considered. Jon was flexible and accountable and these attributes certainly made the process of searching for a home very convenient and pleasant. There are a number of things that were impressive about Jon: He showed us homes that were in our price range and were the style we were looking for. He was always punctual and communicated in a timely fashion. The first e-mail he ever sent to me was detailed and went above and beyond what I expected as far as taking the time to explain the home buying process. He was also assertive with his knowledge of the industry, but not aggressive to the point where we felt pressured to buy a home we were unsure of. Most importantly, Jon Adler was very patient in this process. My husband and I are first time home buyers who had many questions and sometimes were a bit annoying (for lack of a better word!!!), but Jon patiently explained things to us as many times as we needed. He also had to do more work than another broker would have been willing to, because we were not supported as much as we should have been by the other people working for us. He also met with contractors, inspectors, electricians and carpenters so that we didn't have to drive to the house every single time we needed something.
